Why the tenth matters

Ten years is not a milestone. It is evidence.

Conferences are easy to start. Very few in this industry reach a tenth edition.

The Maintenance Summit began as a free one-day gathering at Lekki in 2017, when almost nobody in Nigeria was talking about reliability as a discipline rather than a repair budget. It has run through a currency crisis, a pandemic and the largest asset-ownership transition in Nigerian upstream history.

What has not changed is the room. Maintenance managers, reliability engineers, plant and asset managers who carry real responsibility for real equipment, comparing what actually worked. That is the whole proposition, and it is why the tenth edition is worth building around.

The Reliability Excellence Awards return with a tenth-anniversary category: Lifetime Contribution to Reliability in Africa, judged by an independent panel.

Up to 24 structured CPD hours

Attendance carries up to 24 CPD hours across three days, or 32 including the pre-conference workshop day. Previously accepted as structured CPD evidence by COREN, NSE, IMechE and IEEE, and worth up to 24 CPE points toward SMRP CMRP recertification.

Accreditation is confirmed annually. Certificates are issued within five working days of the closing session.
